Consisting of a reception office, Museum ( with original artifacts excavated on the property), bar, pool area, lounge area, and 4 habitations each with their own bathroom. The second building at the height of the property contains 4 condos. Each of which are 2 level and comfortably sleep 5 adults. The panoramic ocean views from the private deck are absolutely magnificent here. There is also a separate 2 level 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that has a beautiful custom fireplace and private patio facing the emerald green jungle. This cottage sleeps 7 adults comfortably. Beside the condo/apartment complex is a covered games room and a children's playground. The 3rd building also contains a total of 4 rooms, each with their own bathroom. ALL rooms come with A/C, WIFI, Mini refrigerator, and Satellite TV.

The building adjacent to the reception contains a restaurant and bar with a max capacity 50 persons. The restaurant comes with a full commercial kitchen and everything in place for the continued success of the operation. There is a patio and an indoor dining room, allowing guests to either sit inside or outside.

Facing South towards the restaurant we find the guard house; a studio suite conveniently located in the center of the resort. The guard lives on site and assists with daily activities, such as concierge, security, and general assistance.

Throughout the property there are numerous walking trails that immerse you into the jungle. The nature paths lead to a series of suspension bridges, thus making for a very unique jungle experience. Through these walkways we come to part of the reserve that is home to wild boars, wild white tail deer, pheasants, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, ducks, parrots , monkeys and more. It is truly a nature/animal lovers paradise. Only 5 minutes from the beach community in Olon , it is hard to believe that this amazing private jungle retreat exists so close to the human population.

There is also 2 new installation on the property. A new zip line that takes guests from the condos up top, down to the restaurants. Also a 10 meter climbing wall has been constructed out of natural andean mountain stone, which comes complete with all climbing gear.

The owner is a well know philanthropist and has achieved certification of the reserve as the ONLY animal rescue center in the province registered with the Ministry. This is a great addition to the working animal farm, which includes; an ostrich breeding facility, currently with 10 adult ostriches and 25 3-4 month old babies. The farm has a potential to produce upwards of 100 babies / year. There is also a small milk/cheese/dairy production system and 50 head of "Holstein" cows. Also included are 9 champion bred horses from both Ecuador and Peru complete with all the equestrian equipment. There are also 12 mini horses, which are a big attraction with the hotel guests. Taking a ride on the horse drawn buggy's is always on the top of the " to do list at the farm". There is a small horse track on site that also has a soccer field in the center. There is always something to see and do at " El Retiro" .

The property's future use leaves much to the imagination. The property would be ideal for the implication of a 9-18 hole golf course, additional hotel room/suites, ocean view homesite development. There is a myriad of possibilities for this income producing investment.
